Junior Sustainability Consultant (Hong Kong)

Position:

Our Hong Kong office is looking for Junior Sustainability Consultants who are interested to further their career in international environment working on high-profile projects in Hong Kong and the region

Job Details:

• Coordinate and lead sustainability consultancy projects (BEAM Plus for New Buildings, Existing Buildings and Interiors)
• Work with our engineers to develop cost-effective sustainable design solutions based on client sustainability goals and ESG objectives in Hong Kong, China and beyond
• Manage sustainability technical services (Energy Audits / Testing & Commissioning / IAQ / Environmental Monitoring & Auditing (EM&A) projects, etc.)
• Assist with implementing and coordinating BEAM, LEED and WELL Rating assessments.
• Manage customer relationship in liaise with clients.

Key Qualifications:

• A degree level or above in Environmental, Sustainability or Building Services
• 2- 3 years of experience in ESG, Environmental Certification, Building Physics Modelling

• A degree level or above in Environmental, Sustainability or Building Services
• 2- 3 years of experience in ESG, Environmental Certification, Building Physics Modelling
• Good knowledge of all BEAM Plus, LEED and WELL standards, application and assessment procedures
  Managing and coordinating sustainability technical services (such as Sustainable Material Sourcing / Energy Modelling / CFD / Energy Audits / Testing & Commissioning / IAQ / Environmental Monitoring & Auditing (EM&A) / etc.)
• Ability to multi-task and work on multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong skills in developing customer relationship in liaising with clients
• Confident, organized and able to work independently
• Excellent English and Cantonese language skills are a must.

 

Recommended Skills (optional but will be a plus):

 

• Knowledge of LEED / BEAM / WELL
• Energy and microclimate studies modelling experience (energy modelling, CFD, acoustic, daylighting, etc.).
• BEAM Professional (NB, EB and BI) qualifications
• Skills with one or more the following is a plus: eQuest / Ecotect / DIALux / Radiance / EnergyPlus / IESVE / ANSYS Fluent / AutoCAD / Revit.
• Overseas study experience
• MEP knowledge or experience
• Customer-oriented and proactive mindset; good and effective communication and presentation skills
• Fluent in Mandarin
