Project Introduction
The project encompasses a fit-out of one and a half floor of office space in South Island Place located in Wong Chuk Hang district of Hong Kong island. The project space included open office areas, private offices and executive offices, meeting and conference facilities, an emergency control room, a server room, leisure areas and storage areas. AEE was commissioned to provide a full package of MEP, ELV, IT and Security design services for the fit-out project.
Scope of Works
In this project, AEE served as a building services design engineer, including mechanical ventilation and air-conditioning (MVAC), fire services (FS), plumbing and drainage (P&D), electrical and lighting design, as well as extra low voltage installations (ELV), Information and Communications Technology (ITC) and Security consultant. As part of the project, a server room was developed, including UPS and autonomous dedicated air-conditioning system. Moreover, an emergency control room was a part of the scope of works, which had the most stringent requirements for uninterrupted operation for disaster control. Also, a clubhouse-style gaming and leisure area has been a part of this diverse project, with a focus on mood lighting, occupants wellbeing and responsive building services controls.
